Panel Talk : Deconstructing White Privilege X Elevating Black Voices with Her Online Network
I recently had the opportunity to be part of an important virtual panel talk with some amazing women titled “Black At Work” hosted by Her Online Network.
Earlier this year I was hosting closed “Black At Work’ conversations with a couple of friends to create a safe space for Black professionals to talk through our trauma, grief and feelings related to all the tragic racial justice events of this year and beyond.
The panel talk with Her Online Network is an important continuation of this conversation where we took the conversation into an intersectional space with non-black people and shared our experiences as black professional women and our call to actions for creating more diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace.
